Vicky Weldhen

Vicky is the firm’s Wellbeing, Teams, and Social Director at the firm. She is responsible for facilitating, supporting, and promoting well-being across the firm and to aid the Firm in its mission to become the most networked of all law firms. Vicky is committed to encouraging connections between lawyers and equipping the growth of teams within Business Units. Vicky also acts as a central resource for organising, encouraging, and supporting social events across all our offices.

Following 15 years as a solicitor in private practice specialising in Real Estate and Employment Law, Vicky became increasingly aware of the well-being challenges being faced in private practice and wanted to gain an understanding of how these could be addressed. In 2022 she embarked upon a MA in Human Resources Management and Development which gave her the opportunity to develop her expertise and understanding of the complexities of work overload and wellbeing challenges within the legal profession. She also gained substantial insight into how law firms, teams and individuals can foster wellbeing and best address the existing organisational, cultural, and psychological barriers inhibiting well-being and perpetuating excessive workload demands.

Following completing her Masters, Vicky gained experience working at an international human rights organisation.
