Salim Merali – Consultant

The essence of effective legal representation lies in understanding the complexities of each case, crafting tailored solutions, and building trusted relationships with clients. Throughout my career, I have strived to combine analytical precision with a personal approach to deliver results that truly make a difference.

Since being called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn in 1975 and later enrolling as a solicitor in 1982, subsequently becoming a solicitor advocate, Salim has amassed extensive experience across a broad spectrum of legal practice. His areas of expertise include company and commercial law, contractual matters, family law (particularly high-value cases), procurement, residential and commercial property, landlord and tenant issues, trademark disputes, professional negligence (involving solicitors and accountants), jurisdictional disputes, and charity litigation.

Salim has represented a distinguished international clientele, including high-net-worth individuals from Africa, the USA, India, Italy, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Switzerland. He has also acted for private clients in the UK, frequently working in collaboration with leading UK law firms to achieve successful outcomes.

In addition to litigation, Salim is adept at representing clients in arbitration and mediation. His experience extends to serving as a director and legal adviser for resident management companies in the UK, a role he continues to perform with diligence.
