Natalie is a business lawyer, non-executive director and commercial real estate business owner.
Natalie’s focus is on simplifying business law, so her entrepreneurial clients can concentrate on growth.
Her practice includes mergers & acquisitions (buying or selling a business), funding rounds, shareholders’ agreements, joint ventures, commercial contracts and terms & conditions.
Specific areas of expertise
Natalie helps individuals and businesses by:
- Protecting founders’ businesses and ideas (company incorporations, shareholders’ agreements, investment agreements, and tax-efficient share schemes)
- Protecting entrepreneurs’ interests on an investment round, sale, strategic acquisition, or refinancing (preparing a business for sale, seed and VC investment agreements, and M&A agreements)
- Securing the assets that underpin growth business (IP/brand protection, collaboration agreements, supply chain and other commercial contracts, and non-disclosure agreements)
- Safeguarding sales of business’ products (advising on selling to consumers, website terms and conditions, and general safeguarding)
- Helping build and maintain generational wealth through company structures (in conjunction with tax planning) and exit planning
- Growing real estate empires through efficient company structuring and joint venture agreements
A key element of Natalie’s practice in these areas is her ability to draw on her experiences outside of the legal sector. She spent 7 years as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee of Herts for Learning Ltd, the UK’s largest schools’ company (a not-for-profit), and is a Director of a commercial real estate business. She is also Chair of Governors at Sheredes Primary School, an OFSTED rated “Outstanding” school consistently rated the top state primary in Herts by the Real Schools Guide.
Natalie seeks to enjoy a sustainable work/life environment. She is a working mum, balancing work, family, and non-executive director duties. Natalie, therefore, understands multi-tasking to time-pressured deadlines, the importance of clear communication, and quick response times. She brings with her over 15 years of experience in being able to compute, digest, and communicate diverse information into the boardroom.
