Based in our Chepstow office in Wales, Mel is a family lawyer with over 30 years of experience. She offers practical and compassionate advice to clients navigating family and matrimonial matters including divorce, financial remedy and children cases. She handles matters of all sizes, including high-net-worth divorces, and always prioritises cost-effective solutions and client care. While court proceedings can be unavoidable, Mel strives to reach constructive, agreed settlements outside of court to minimise stress and expense for her clients.
In addition to her family law expertise, Mel specialises in all aspects of real estate and conveyancing, including residential sales and purchases, buy-to-let transactions, re-mortgages, and landlord and tenant issues.
Having previously run her own high street firm, Mel brings a wealth of legal experience across many areas of law, and a deep understanding of client care. She is currently serving as President of the Monmouthshire Incorporated Law Society and was previously the President of the Association of South West Law Societies.
