Karim is a highly experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor and accredited Mediator based in London, and joins Spencer West LLP as Partner having been a fixed share equity partner at a national Top 100 law firm.
He specialises in helping individuals & businesses with construction disputes, financial services disputes (including crypto), professional negligence, insolvency, HMRC tax disputes, company & partnership disputes, costs (solicitor/client & inter-partes), debt recovery, property litigation (incl. possession, rent arrears, breaches) & enforcement.
Karim provides careful, straightforward, honest and strategic advice to clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
His practise is intentionally broad and strategically provides a greater breadth of knowledge and experience to call upon (when inevitably required) during a case. He was previously nominated for the Law Society – Young Lawyers of the Year and was one of the youngest equity partners of a law firm in the UK.
Karim has a varied client base and has represented directors/shareholders, developers, high-net-worth individuals, law firms, start-ups, entrepreneurs, accountants, off-shore companies and high-profile individuals, celebrities and athletes. His cases are typically high value and complex but he has dealt with disputes in the value of £50,000 to over £40m.
He regularly advocates in the High Court, Senior Court Costs Office and First Tier Tribunal (tax chamber).
