Jeetesh has specialised exclusively in matrimonial and related family law matters since qualifying as a solicitor in 2001. He has developed a strong reputation and has built up his practice acting for many mid to high net worth individuals and international clients. He is described in the 2019 edition of Legal 500 as being “committed to his clients”.
He handles a varied caseload including privately funded financial remedy matters, the international aspects of divorce, complex private children act proceedings (including those cases with an allegation of parental alienation), cohabitation, same sex cases and inter-country adoption and international surrogacy. Jeetesh has achieved successful outcomes in cases where foreign adoptions were not automatically recognised under the Hague Convention, as well as assisting commissioning couples with Parental Orders in foreign surrogacy arrangements.
Jeetesh is a trained Collaborative lawyer. He has in the past also been a member of the Law Society Children Panel and an Accredited Member of Resolution.
In addition, Jeetesh has trained and qualified as an arbitrator for children cases through the Institute of Family Law Arbitrators in May 2022.
Jeetesh’s approach is to work closely with a client to achieve their objectives. He also ensures that at the conclusion of their case the client has all the support they need for independent living and any support that is needed for their children. In addition, Jeetesh’s South Asian background allows him to understand the unique cultural implications of family matters, making him a trusted advisor within these communities.
When he’s not working with clients, Jeetesh undertakes pro bono work with the London School of Economics Law Clinic, where he supervises law students in assisting the public on family law related enquiries.
