Haiqiao Lou

For Chinese investors, doing business or acquiring assets in an unfamiliar country can be extremely challenging. My key value when assisting these investors is my professional attitude and my in-depth understanding of both sides’ legal systems and cultures.

Haiqiao is a highly experienced real estate lawyer, with a strong background in advising high net worth individuals from China on property investments in the UK, particularly in central London. Having lived in China for over 20 years, he possesses a deep, personal understanding of Chinese culture, which allows him to navigate the complexities of cross-cultural legal matters with ease.

Previously, Haiqiao was a solicitor at Zhong Lun’s London office, one of China’s leading law firms, and at Forsters LLP, where he further honed his legal expertise and built a robust track record in assisting Chinese clients with their entry into the UK real estate market.

Haiqiao qualified as a Solicitor in 2016 and is also a qualified lawyer in China. He is fluent in Mandarin, his native language, as well as English, enabling him to provide clear and effective communication to clients across cultures and legal systems.

His extensive experience in real estate law includes advising on property acquisitions, sales, leasehold matters, and financing arrangements for Chinese investors in the UK market. His ability to bridge the legal, commercial, and cultural differences between China and the West has made him a trusted advisor to clients seeking to make strategic investments in the UK property market.
