Anne is an experienced employment lawyer with a background in both private practice and in-house roles. She has worked for international law firms and was also head of employment for a US inter-dealer broker, overseeing employment issues throughout Europe and Asia. Anne gained extensive experience acting for senior individuals at the award-winning, niche West Midlands firm Averta.
Anne brings her skills and expertise to benefit corporate clients but also acts for individuals.
She has advised institutions and senior executives on all types of employment law and partnership issues. She has experience in the public and quasi-public sectors, including universities, the NHS, and housing associations. Her private-sector clients come from financial services, recruitment, hospitality, retail, tech/media, engineering, publishing, and charities.
Where elements of foreign law are involved, she collaborates with advisers in other jurisdictions to provide a comprehensive service to her clients.
Anne regularly works with her local Citizens Advice Bureau, offering pro bono advice. She is a trustee for several charities and an outdoor swimming enthusiast —swimming in all weathers.
