Real estate partner Joanne Cummings shares her story in Law Society Gazette
Joanne Cummings, a partner in Spencer West’s real estate team has shared her journey into law in the ‘My Legal Life’ column of the Law Society Gazette.
Joanne explains how the support of her family gave her the foundation she needed to pursue her legal career.
Joanne also discusses diversity in the legal profession saying: “It is often underestimated how important it is to one’s confidence to have visual representations of oneself. At every point of accession in my career I noticed discrepancies when it came to diversity and representation. Overall, it served to make me even more determined to progress and make changes where possible for future generations who may have seen this as an obstacle.”
