LONDON 29TH MARCH 2021 – Spencer West employment partner Dr John McMullen elected as a Member of the Executive Committee of the prestigious Industrial Law Society for a term of 2 years.
McMullen is the author of leading practitioner textsBusiness Transfers and EmplyeeRights]Redundancy the law and Practce and is a celebrated and leading practitioner in the field of employment and labour relations law. His appointment, after a contest election, to the Exec Committee of the ILS is further recognition of McMullen’s influence in this ever-changing discipline and gives Spencer West a seat at the high table of this prestigious organisation.
The Industrial Law Society was founded in 1964, bringing experts and practitioners from the two sides of industry together in a forum for shared knowledge and views with the aim of promoting the understanding of labour law and industrial relations and to stimulate debate in these fields. Its members are lawyers, academics, HR and personnel practitioners, trade union officials and members, judges, journalists, and civil servants. Companies, trade unions and educational establishments are corporate members.
