Bryony Irvine joins Law Society Gazette discussion on hybrid working during the pandemic
When the first lockdown started in March 2020 the world of work changed overnight. Remote working impacted workers in diverse ways and caused some unique challenges for junior lawyers starting out in their careers.
The Law Society Gazette explored the issues in a round table attended by a group of junior lawyers including our solicitor, Bryony Irvine.
Bryony highlighted the challenges including how junior lawyers learn the ‘soft skills’ that come from working in an office. She also highlighted how Spencer West’s international team helped her during the lockdowns, saying:
“We have socials every month and we have partners that are in other countries – completely different continents – and the fact that it’s no different for them to be there than for us to be here is quite nice. It feels quite inclusive. It feels like we’re all in it together.’
